This page explains what personal information The South East Innovators collects when you apply, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.
The South East Innovators Entrepreneurship Academy is delivered by Waterford Chamber. The contact for any data-related questions is hello@theinnovators.ie.
When you fill in the application form on this site we collect:
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or social media pixels on this site.
We process this information on the basis of your consent (you've actively chosen to submit the form), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in selecting the most suitable founders for a competitive, limited-place programme.
Your application is reviewed by the SEI assessment team — a small group of staff and selected mentors involved in the programme. We do not sell or share your data with any other organisation. The data is stored on the same Irish-based hosting infrastructure that powers this website, plus (optionally) a Google Sheet visible only to the SEI team.
Confirmation and admin notification emails are sent through Resend, our transactional email provider.
We hold the application data for the duration of the programme cycle plus 12 months, after which it is deleted. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will (see below).
Under GDPR you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@theinnovators.ie with the application reference number we sent you. We aim to respond within 14 days.
This site uses one cookie group: a session cookie used by the admin login (named seiadmin) — only the SEI team encounters this. There is no advertising or analytics cookie on the public pages. The application form uses your browser's local storage to auto-save your draft as you type — that data never leaves your device until you click Submit.
We may update this page if our processing changes — for example, if a new cohort partner needs to see the data. We'll note the date of any update at the bottom of this page.
